Restaurant week in Chicago is fast approaching people!!! One of my favorite weeks of the winter time. If you have some must-try places that are on your bucket list, this is the week to visit them. For those of you that don’t know what resultant week is (a deceiving name since it’s basically almost two weeks occurring from January 25-February 7), it is a two-week time period where over 400 restaurants in Chicago have set menus that are $24 for brunch/lunch or $36/$48 for dinner. It’s a steal! You can visit some very high-end expensive places and leave without a hole in your pocket! You can search for all the restaurants you want to try here. Just type the name of the place, search by type of cuisine you want to try or the area you’d like to eat in. There are SO many options and plenty of time to explore! Try something you wouldn’t try normally or go to a place that you might find too expensive and only commit to a meal as high as $48 (drinks, tax and gratuity is not included here).
Below are some of the places that I plan to try out this year. I recommend booking now, as places can fill up and you don’t want to miss your chance!
I would love some more suggestions if anyone has a go-to place they think I should try. I’m a big foodie and open to basically anything (as long as it is not spicy) so I’m ready to eat, eat, eat during this week!
Outfit details are below!
A sweater, jeans and booties are my go to going out outfit. Whether it's a night on the town or to brunch, you cant go wrong! My sweater is from Amazon. It's so soft, great material, I am wearing a size Medium and it comes in plenty of colors. My jeans are from Express. They are high waisted, stretchy like leggings and fit TTS. My booties are from Top Shop, I always wear them out during the winter.
